ADMINISTRATION GUIDANCE OFFICE STAFF STANDING: Miss Wotts, Mrs. Hutchinson, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Wisniewski. SEATED: Miss Rogon. Mr. O'Neal, Director of Guidance. Mr. Panther, Dcon of Students. When a marshal hands us those long, white summonses, our usual reaction is both alarm and excitement. Often the mes- sages emanate from Mr. Panther, dean of students, or from Mr. O'Neal, guidance director. These men solve problems in- volving testing, travel, and honors. The adviser chairmen perform invaluable tasks, such as supervising class projects, cultivating student interest in voca- tions and colleges, helping plan each student's academic pro- gram, and establishing a relaxed, beneficial relationship be- tween the adults at HPHS and the students. Without the efforts of the competent office staff, under the direction of Miss Watts, the rest of the Guidance Department could not function as efficiently as it does. 12 ADVISER CHAIRMEN STANDING: Mr. Floyd, Mr. Broming, Mr. Mihura, Mr. Cosh. SEATED: Miss Bond, Miss McKichan, Miss Beckmirc, Miss Shine.
