Wearing wool coats or cotton windbreakers, we enter the high school 180 days a year. With each year, we discover more shortcuts, more tricks. As freshmen, we queue up for lunch; by our junior year, our timing sharpened, we know exactly how to slither into the line. Our hockey and football games as fresh- men are far different from our pol- ished performances as upperclass- men. 5

Four years of high school hove brought us mo- ments of both satisfaction and futility. In future years we will remember entering the doors as lonely freshmen, as well as graduating as confident seniors. Our lasting memories, however, will be of the sum of our experiences, the education which we received here at Highland Park High School.
