One Enchanted Evening... Robbie Stupplc. 1955 Queen, wait to crown Dave Rudolph while John Coleman, the former king, crown Barb Kurtzon. Amid pink clouds and silver stars. Barbara Kurtzon and Dave Rudolph were crowned king and queen of the 1956 Junior Prom. A Bit of Heaven” was held at the High School for the first time on June 9, 1956. Dan Belloc and his orchestra played for the crowd on this warm summer evening. Under the leadership of our Junior Executive Board, the entire class helped to make our Junior Prom, one always memorable, especially since it set a new and happy precedent. Besides dancing inside, much of the crowd adjourned to the court where a flowing water fountain was the center of attraction.
