Looking over new equipment are the members of the industrial arts department. They are: Harold Carpenter, Wallace Hammerlierg, Frank Anderson, Paul Me- Liughlin and Harry Bolle. Chester Kyle, choral instructor and Harold Finch, band and orchestra instructor, are looking over plans for the new music department. Modern art is the latest thing according to our art teachers who arc: Mrs. Norma Gray, Wellington B. Gray and William Kolbc. Decorating the department for the holidays is an easy task for the home economics teachers who are: Miss Dora Bean, Miss Gludys Cairn cross and Miss Nadine Brown. th e senior class of 1954 As we think hack on our senior year, ihe Class of 1954 will long remember the good times we have had. Our varsity football team really did a marvelous job to bring us into a sec- ond place lie. We can't forget Stu- dent Stunts, with its chorus lines and jazz band. Our senior dance and senior assembly were really sensa- tional. Wc worked hard all year long, and the joys and sorrows of our senior year will always remain in our memory. As freshmen, the class showed its ambition by vigorously campaigning for the new school. The class has produced outstanding athletic teams and hopes to continue to win championships for the school. The girls were very active in cheerleading. Pen- guin, and HGA. They proved their talent and originality by winning the HGA song contest. They further showed their talent and ability in the . sophomore assembly which proved to be a great success.
