ENTER TO LEARN, GO FORTH TO SERVE When we walked through the arched front doors of Highland Park for the first time as sophomores, this inscription loomed above us, a motto to live by and a goal to strive toward until graduation sent us out again through these same doors, no longer strange, dignified sentinels but familiar guardians of many memories. Past the front entrance we went on to learn of other doors that opened to chemistry, economics, and Eng- lish, gym doors that led to pep rallies and intramural games, auditorium doors through which we passed for club meetings and assemblies, office doors that made up the routine of daily procedure. All these doors are still here for other classes to find, explore, and leave in their turn. The 1958 Highlander would like to guide you through some of the doors of Highland Park that have meant study, Work, and fun to us. four
