Tish Carberry is a possessive Spinster, played by Susan Sutherland, who takes her old maid side-kicks, Francha Davenport and jenny Creechl on a pleasure trip. Tish meets her nephew, Mike Campbel, at Quaker Inn. Ellen Leigh fCarolyn Terryj is the propr etress of Quaker Inn. The plot thickens as Sheriff Lem Ful er QWalter McDonaldj finds that a convict has escaped from rison. ' Luther Hopkins and his niece, Annabelle Hopkins Gerry Clarke and Phyllis Foxj are suspected by Tish and her curi- ous friends of being the convict. Also suspected are guests Virginia Kirby QMarcia Gillenj, Lesly Andrews fMike Lawlerj, the Broadway show director, Butram Grimes Uohn Luskj, and Betty Dillard taking the role of Dorice Love, glamorous Broadway actress.
