MR. MEYER FRISCHLING n President of the Board of Education The Class of 1957 leaves us as its chief legacy its gift of voluntary hard Work to get out the vote on our school referendum. Because of this hard Work, this class graduates already experienced in some of the intricacies of democracy, and experienced, too, in the stimulating pleasure of working for a cause and not for am. g Good luck to you all. I am sure that the Class of 1957 will enjoy good luck and will continue to contribute much to the good luck of others. Meyer F rischling To The Class Of 1957, Graduation is just another step on your ladder of success. To each of you, your parents, your teachers, and the people of Highland Park, congratulations must be extended. Your success in completing four years of high school education has a definite effect on our community. You have raised the level of education in our community another notch. Serving as your superintendent for the past eight years has been a real pleasure. Seeing the bond issue pass has been my greatest desire, it will provide many overdue, needed facilities. May it be completed and made useful to all of the people of Highland Park. Best wishes. E. L. GILLILAND Superintendent of Schools MR. R. RICHARD JOHNSON High School Principal You are my first graduating class, and like the first of anything good and wonderful in life, you are special to me and I have great hopes and expectations for you. Whenever you speak, speak kindly, Give joy Wherever you dwell. Good luck and God bless you. R. Richard Johnson
