SUPIQRINTISNDITNTS MESSAGE Approximately 15 years ago the voters in the Cowiche, Naches Heights. and Tie-ton school districts decided to consolidate into one larger district in orcler to provide better educi1tion.1l opportunities for their boys and girls. The first project was the construction of a new high school build- ing. Several ye.1rs later two new elementary buildings and a new .lgricultuml building were constructed. Our district was one of the first in the state to replace all its old school buildings with modern ones. During this short time the Highland Schools have earned an enviable reput.ition as Ll school system with excellent school spirit.
