The Highland Student Council is com- prised of the A.S.B. officers, one repre- sentative from each organization, and one from each home room. It is the representa- tives' responsibility to express the ideas of his fellow students before the council and to inform them of the council's action. By sponsoring the traditional All High Dance, the A.S.B, under the enthusiastic leadership of Janice Smith formally opened the social program of Highland High School. Our unique activity this year was the organization of a recreation hall. Long hours were spent cleaning, painting, and fixing it into ping pong and dancing order. Our appreciation goes to Mr. Personette, our advisor, Mr. Kenneth Leader, and Mr. Ralph Thomas for their enthusiasm in the furthering of this project. The council has striven to provide High- land High with a year of interesting ac- tivities.
