Has that book on reserve come in for me yet? l'Give me the 'Saturday Review of Literature,' or 'That book can't be overdueg I just checked it out a few days agolu-just a sample of the thousand complaints and compliments that fill the day of Mrs. Carey and her fourteen librarians. Activities including returning books to shelves, col- lecting overdue books, reading shelves, caring for magazines, arranging bulletin boards, and general housekeeping, highlights a librarian's busy day but the library club was not all work and no play for these girls. Two girls join as hostesses for a party each month, the girls gathered in the home of Mrs. Carey for a December Christmas party-potluck and the month of May was spotlighted by a dinner- theater party. During the year's course the group earned money through various means joining the football fund by contributing to it.
