«3ri DtAet (m0trn People often make changes knowing little how the changes may affect the lives of others. There have been many changes here at Highland as well as in the world as a whole. In the last year America had many tests of courage and endurance; with the seizure of the American Embassy in Iran and the capture of 52 American people. After long months of talks, the two nations compromised (make agreements to each others satisfactions) and the hostages were released. In 1980 along with the changing of Carter to Reagan, the economy will be changing too. for better or for worse, it remains to be seen. Enough about the rest of the world. Highland too has made many changes; the new 7 set schedule is just one. the changing of staff is another, new faces, and strange little freshmen, who sooner or later have to grow up to be seniors someday. Changes are good and changes are bad. but we need changes to help us grow and understand. 2
