r£- l)e £o, ore Oh how the students have changed! From blue jeans to dress slacks, they're even letting the teachers regain control! Students. especially Seniors, can you remember when you couldn't wait to sit on the Senior heater, to ditch class, to talk down the Frosh. They have really tried to confuse us this year, with the seven set schedule. The new schedule adds a little zing to the week, trying to figure out what class you have next. Even Mother nature is trying to confuse us by making the Frosh even shorter this year than last. Have you made a trip through the cafeteria during second set lately? If you have you would probably swear that there was a class going on in there. Apparently, the cafeteria has become the new meeting place for those who have ammended schedules. 20

What is this life, full of care. We have no time to stand and stare? rr n No time to stand beneath the boughs And stare as long as sheep or cows: No time to see. when we pass. Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass: No time to see. in broad daylight. Streams full of stars, like skies at night: A poor life this if. full of care. We have no time to stand and stare. bin0 ml)arige Highland gels a face lift.” mujl be the talk of the year! For once we can actually drive by the school without dropping our heads. The students were the key. adding trees, a fence, and even walk paths: hours were spent working on the front of the school to make it presentable. Along with the changes in front of the building there have been changes within the building, starting with the Principals. As we all know Mr. Brian Rich accepted the position of Principal of MHS. Mr. Petralia is now the District One Security Director. Two excellent men. Mr. Hawley and Mr. Hufford. have replaced Mr. Rich and Mr. Petralia and are doing a fine job. Mr. Hower? Well can anyone guess what he's doing this year? From teacher, to Athletic director for the district, to Student Council Sponsor, to Assistant Coach for the football team. The teachers who have rooms with windows feel lucky because those of us who don't have to breath uncirculated air. Thanks to those few electrical fans that we have those hours aren't quite so bad. Mrs. Henninger. part-time librarian for HHS. retired after 20 years of service.
