JEWELERS IN THE MAKING 120 At the beginning of the school year, the jewelry class was stung by a break-in and a theft of all the rings and all the metal that were used in the making of the rings. You might have seen three students last year making a mess in room I8B next to Mrs. Inhelders. Actually, the three students were Gary Crane. Scott Dickerson, and Mike McCurdy, who were working on the mural for the water treatment plant, which is located just off of 88th Ave. and River-dale Rd. The mural took 2V2 months to design and I month to paint. The three worked on the mural sixth hour, which was the art seminar class, and all the free time they had during and after school. 119

 Highland has one of the finest Art programs in the district. This art program has produced one of the finest artists in the state. The student, in particular, is Gary Crane. The Art teachers.
