Halls that had been summer- silent chattered with shullling foot- steps, slamming locker doors, and shrieking school bells. arly autumn opened a year On September 4. Highlanders offici- ally said 'KHello to thirty-six weeks of activity. Two groups - new faculty members and Pe Club lasses - made their deputs on the assembly. October was the month of Hs, - hayrides, Halloween, and Homecom- ing. Alumni Rambled Home to an assembly and dance in their honor. Remember the 'AOle's,' that showed we were proud of our hard-fighting team? That was Basketball season. Ilighland's swing into spring was evi- denced by more than lunchtime pic- nics and senior yo-yo contests.
