F U T U R E F A R M E R S The Highland Chapter of Future Farmers of America is quite an industrious organization. With the number of girls joining the organization, the membership increased to 134 this year. Again this year the money-making project was selling citrus fruit. The earnings were used for the annual FFA banquet, prizes for hunters and fishermen. Many members of the club showed their livestock in the county fair as a project. Officers were Lowell Simmons, Donald Hedrick, Bobby Beverage, Junior Altizer, Bill Puffenbarger, and Mike W. Armstrong. The organization was under the leadership of Mr. Winfree Gutshall and Mr. John Moyers this year. 9 Ofe W hh cj

MONOGRAM CLUB The Monogram Club consists of all the students that have lettered at least one year in a Varsity sport at Highland High. This year has been a great year and much has been accomplished. Our goal was to raise enough money to buy monogram jackets for our Senior boys, which has been done. To get this money we sold toboggans and raffled off a CB radio. Everyone worked hard to make this a successful year. OFFICERS Pres. — Bub Simmons V.Pres. — Beth Hammer Sec. — Christie Waybright Treas. — Kathy Ralston Members waited all year for their jackets. 11
