NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY All members of the National Honor Society must have at least a B average. This past year, they sponsored a round dance which helped to send them to “Klassroom Kwiz”. The purpose of this organization was to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to en¬ courage the development of character in students of Highland High School. We sponsored assemblies, a Christ¬ mas party, citizens-of-the-month, a Christmas door decoration contest, a spring clean-up, and the Lohr-Lunsford award. The SCA also supported the Monogram Club and library by giving money to their treasuries. How do you get folks to vote for Joe Malcolm? Quick! Let’s get the loot before Super Treasurer finds it. 5
