Dick Jones, a World War I veteran, came to speak to the large group. He told the class about his experiences as a medic and orderly. Mrs. Linda Brooks of the English department, gave a reading from ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT as actual WWI pictures were shown with the opaque projector. The book was written by a German veteran.
