After an opening loss to Revere, the Hornet's football team continued with five straight victories over conference rivals. A scoreless tie with Firelands spoiled a perfect conference record. The team, however, bounced back to defeat arch-rival Buckeye and Wayne County power Triway. Coach McFarland and his staff are to be com- mended for the fine work as are the players them- selves. Despite pre-season predictions we are, for the third straight year, champions of the Inland Conference.
