Mr. Herold helps Sue Hirsch with her future plans. ames Mrs. Myers addresses the eighth graders’ parents. GUIDANCE The guidance counselors work in many ways to serve the students. They adminis- ter testing programs, counsel the students, and assist them in their educational and occupational planning. The counselors show how interests , aptitudes, and abilities work together. Through various activities they provide information about careers and a- bout the various opportunities for post- high school education. They also provide facts about the many available technical schools, apprentice programs, and vocation- al programs.
