In his spare time, Mr. Brenner likes to ski, golf, work on cars, and play all kinds of sports with his son. He advises high school students to plan for their entire lives not just to live day by day. Some of the students should be planning for an education, career, mar- riage, a house, pleasures, vaca- tions, and church affiliations. When asked why he chose teaching as a profession he re- plied, “I like youth, it isa challenge, it is rewarding.” Mrs. Weigle Biology, Chemistry, Physics Mr. Highman Algebra I, Plane Geometry Mr. Hahn General Science, Biology ‘Mrs. Weigle likes to sew in her leisure time. During the sum- mer she also likes to can and freeze most of the vegetables from her garden. She chose the teaching profession because she has always liked to teach and enjoys working with high school students. Her advice to high school stu- dents is to do what you can, for the greatest of all mistakes is to do nothing because you can only do a little. 10 Mr. Brenner Plane Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Math MATH AND SCIENCES Math and Sciences are a big part of a high school system. In Mr. Keck’s spare time he works on his house, goes to Akron U., attends meetings, and goofs off. He chose the teaching profession because it’s a fami- ly tradition and also because he al- ways enjoyed school and thought teaching would be enjoyable too. The funniest thing that happened to him was when he borrowed Mr. Kahl’s room and sat on the attendance spike.
