May Day festivities May Day proved to be much fun at Highland. Mr. Gienke gives the signal for the be- ginning of the race. Trying to win points for his class, each boy races to the finish line. Last spring we at Highland tried a new idea, sponsored by the Student Council. We held May Day festivities by playing team games in which each class competed for a trophy. Many races turned out to be hilarious events of fun for all those who participated. We hope to continue this event for years to come. Our candid camera finds the students waiting for the next event. 12
