The staff, as we all know, is always busy finding and reporting the lastest news and happenings around Highland. The paper has been improved this year, with many new features added. The Advisor is Mrs. Egleston. The office practice class types the Hi-Lites.

National Honor Society Starts School With New Ideals, Along with the Fall season we have our National Honor Society which is composed of students who rank high in leadership, scholastic ability, and character. To be in the N. H..S. you must have an average of a “’B” and above, and you must maintain that average to stay in the club. The advisor is Mr. Rios. They try to have a meeting every month. In- deed it is a real honor to tell someone you belong to the National Honor Society.

This is the fourth year of the Highland F. T. A. They have been work- ing very hard looking into different colleges to see which are best for teachers’ training. They also belong to the county F. T.
