This trip was the realization of a dream that started four years ago when the class entered high school, and was an experience never to be forgotten. fy! glance The graduating class of 1956 certainly had a right to be proud since thirty of its members received an honor pin. To earn the privilege of wearing an honor cord and receiving the honor pin, the student must have at least 4.0 or B standing. The class had two valedictorians-- Margie Schuepbach and Mar- ilynBoedicker who both had a 5.0 average. Linda Lou Lyon, the salutatorian, had a 4.9 standing. FOURTH ROW: Shirley Suess, Ruth Storck, Sue Malan, Jim Byrne, Judy Moser, Dave Loyet, Robert Siverly, NOT PICTURED: Mary Somraty, Donald Voigt, 2466464 The Baccalaureate service for the class of '56 was held on Sunday,May 20, in the First Congregational Church. The service,whichbegan at 7:30, was conducted by Rev. William Mathews who inspired the group with his sermon on Dreams of Our Youth. The Reverends Allrich, Marshall, and Soder- berg also participated in the program. Music was furnished by the organist, Mr. Roscoe Menz, and the Congregational Church Choir under the direction of Mrs. Jeanne Storts. 20
