PRINCIPAL Congratulations are in order to the members of the Iris Staff and their advisor, Mr. Diefenbach for the production of this book. They have n ' only pro- duced a book which represents the ooo lete school year of 1954-55, but have been able to compile a brief history of those people who ' ' have graduated from Highland High School during tha Sst 35 years. To do this has taken many hqurs of work, yet it is hoped their efforts will be apMeciated. This staff and their a lsor have not been afraid tooverridg ' some traditions of the past and experiment with the idea of a niid-summer publishing date. Each member of the Class of 1955 will leave a bit of his personality behind v en he departs in June and he will carry a bit of the personality of the Highland Community Schools with him throughout life. Your class has seen a good many changes take place in our schools during the past four years, and has left its own mark on our schools as each class does.
