B LLDDGS The Bulldogs completed the first half of their baseball season fairly successfully. The Bulldogs fin- ished second in the M. B. C. Confer- ence, due to the loss of the play-off game with Pocahontas. The Bulldogs played a good game, but Pocahontas played a better one. ln non-conference games, the Bulldogs did not fare quite so well, winning two and losing two. The Bulldogs played Greenville twice, each winning one game. The Highland team lacked experience due to the large number of rookies on the team. This should, however, lead to a good team in the future, The increased number of players coming from the surrounding area is pointing to more competition for each position. This ultimately will produce better teams for l-l.H.S. Clog, .53 This page sponsored by: s-ln' ln -. . i Broadway Battery and Tire Service I--, I -l .. W1 4 9 3 'ic'-1: f A f , 'K .
