SUPERI TE DE T MREWING No small share of the credit for our new school is due our superin- tendent, Mr. Ewing. He rendered valuable service during the campaign for the new school and in the planning of the building to suit the needs of modern education. His untiring efforts and countless hours of work during the period of construction have not been unnoticed by the true friends of educa- tion in this community. Mr. Ewing's executive ability has been proved by his efficiency during this first year in our new building. The duties of principal fell t0 him during the absence of Mr. White in addition to the many tasks which came up in connection with the completion of the building and the initiation of the cafeteria and other features new to our system, To all these special tasks Mr. Ewing has given a goodly share of his attention. As our class sponsor Mr. Ewing has earned our sincere gratitude. His sympathetic interest in each of us and his practical suggestions concerning the management of our affairs have won our deep respect.
