Deeper concepts of learning come with experiments An experimental class was initiated this year as girls were allowed to take auto mechanics. Taught by Mr. Barnard, this class learned the tech- niques of assembling and disas- sembling a car engine. Protected by coveralls, these girls also Worked in all other areas of auto mechanics. The process of trial and error was also carried on at an individual level. Experiments on a singular basis motivated students into producing top results. Classtime comes alive by student- sparked interest Throughout the school year, a vari- ety of activities in the classroom provided educational enjoyment. Classes that would have normally been tiring to students, came to life when the pupils themselves took charge. Special projects, speeches, speakers, and humor gave the class that special twist needed to break away from the monotony of studying the textbook.
