Three records set by Jr. Hi Although the Junior High Football Team registered only three victories, valuable experience was gained through defeat. Victories came over Alexandria, South- side, and Madison Heights under the coaching staff of Mr. Ronald Ruby and Mr. Jim Teeters. Quarterback John Kerr, along with John Campbell, Dennis Brewer, and Tom Castor led the young gridders down the field throughout the year. The Junior High Track Team had a winning season this year with a 6-2 record. Under the direction of Mr. Ronald Ruby, the junior high tracksters captured fourth place in conference competition. Three records were also broken this year: John Campbell, 880 yard run, Dennis Brewer, shot put, and John Kerr, high jump. Three seventh graders also proved to be outstanding and received letters for their accomplishments.
