SENIOR OFFICERS George Taylor Treasurer Prudence Saso Vrce Presrdent Niarle Collms Secretary Lu Smalley Presrdenl CLASS HISTORY As we walk down the a1sle the mght of graduat1on our mlnds return to our freshman year of hrgh school We looked around rn bewrlderment wonder1ng how we could f1nd our next classroom We placed the leader sh1p of the class 1n the capable hands of Franklm Walsh w1th Lu Smalley as V1ce Pres1dent and Maryann Gott1lly as Secretary Treasurer Jac quehne Berean Margaret Gruner Robert Ose and George Taylor were our representatwes to Student Councrl Then we returned as Sophomores sendmg the Freshmen through therr paces We elected George Taylor Presrdent .Tulle Beeler V1ce Presr dent who 1nc1dentally transferred and V1rg1n1a Sa1tta Secretary Treasurer Our Student Counc1l members were Paula F1l1bert1 Lu Smalley Franklm Walsh and Leonard W1ll1ams As rn our frrst year our only event was a successful class party Jumors' ' How proud we were' Our leaders were Leonard W1ll1ams Jacquelme Berean Lu Smalley and Rosahe Pr1zz1a who were Presxdent V1ce Pres1dent Secretary and Treasurer respect1vely El1zabeth Wad lm Paula F1l1bert1 Franklm Walsh and Robert Mayen were our Student C unc1l representatrves The Jumor Play Professor How Could You? d1rected by Mr Crowley was a huge success Then 1n March the most thr1ll1ng event of our three years occurred the arrrval of our .Tumor rrngs' In May we sponsored for the Sen1ors of 1052 the Jumor Prom We rece1ved numerous comphments on the un1que decoratlons Our Jun 1or Wash1ngton Club started 1ts act1v1t1es toward the end of the year F1nally we reached the peak Sen1ors at last' I' Our elected class offrcers were Lu Smalley Pres1dent Prudence Saso V1ce Pres1dent Marre Collms Secretary and George Taylor Treasurer Our Student Counc1l members remamed the same The Semor Washmgton Club work ed at every football and basketball game w1th one goal rn m1nd Wash mngton' The Semor Play under Mr Schwerdt's d1rect1on was another bxg success for our class Now we have reached the stage and Mr Berean IS handrng us cert1f1 cates s1gn1fy1ng our four years of work and accomphshment Even as we leave the school we know that part of us w1ll always re ma1n here at H1ghland I-hgh where we have spent four of the most wonder ful years of our l1ves 1 . ,......
