-1- one' Going Go'ng G Echo In Ggm As Seniors Hold Slave Sale The Senior Class devised an ingenious money-raising project this year when it de- cided to have a Slave Sale, Lettermen of HHS volunteered to be slaves and were put on the auction block on Thursday night, February 13. In all, 20 slaves were auctioned off-5 juniors, 1 sophomore, and 14 seniors. The sophomore boy-Tommy I-lintonibrought the most money-31030. That amount was bid by the six varsity cheerleaders. About S70 was raised by this fun-filled activity. The slaves had to dress in suitable costumes on Valentine's Day and do the bidding of their purchasers Waiting patiently to be disgracefully sold as slaves for Slave Day, are some of the lettermen. as aa.
