A new Music Building and a new Art Building were added and occupied about Mid-Year. The Music building provided sound proof- practice rooms, oflices and equipment storage facilities for both instrumental and choral music. The pictures on this page were taken from the first issue of the HICHLANDER, published in May, 1950. Much of the credit for the excellence of Highland High School must go to these people who have devoted so much time and energy to its causes.
