Seniors presented Death Takes A Holiday, in the schools theater under the direction of Miss Shannon. Leading roles were played by Ken Shears as Death, Alice Nation as Grazia and Don Kramer as the Duke Lambert. Other roles were played by Diane Murphy as Alda, Barbara Houk as Cora, john Hanlin as F edele, Peggy Gernert as Stephanie, Mary Dornacker as the princess, Fred Warner as the Baron, Sharon Glinski as Rhoda, Mark Naylor as Eric, Bill Potenziani as Corrado, and David Hanna as the Mayor. Death, played by Ken Shears, tries explaining to Alice Nation why he cannot take her bacli to where he came from. Gwen Lewis, John Hanlin, Beth Jones, Cindy Kirlr- patriclr, and Diane Murphy dis- cuss decorations for the coming dance ,, sf R MISS BROOKS . ,Q it A Dance WVith Our Miss Brooks, directed by Miss Ann Shannon, HHS drama r and English teacher, was N presented February 9-11 in ' the Highland theater. The play was a comedy in three acts by Anne Coulter Mar- tens. It was based on ma- terial from the television and radio shows, Our Miss Brook. Miss Brooks was a high school English teacher who tried to put on a school dance while being opposed by the Taxpayer Association. She was also interested in catching Coach Longacre. Crew heads for the Thespian Play were: Ralph Wenzelburger, Leland Taylor, Mark Naylor, Sherrie Slade, Sharon Glinslri, Carolyn Babb, Brenda Holiday, Annette Mcliown, and Pam Katz.
