'Throughout every game, the team was cheered on by the student body, Even at Homecoming, where the rain poured steadily on an already mud-caked field, fans watched the Hive play harder than they ever had before, Whether the result of a game was victory or defeat for the Hornets, the team always exhibited superior sportsmanship toward their opponents. By realizing mistakes from past games, our boys were able to learn from experience and to do even better in their next trial on the gridiron. The record of the Hornets is able to speak for itself. Once again the boys from High- land High School have gained the respect of every other team in the state-especially those in District IAA! VARSITY FOOTBALL COACHES Coach Adams.
