Tl-IE CANDLE Calendar licbruary 2nd- The Junior dance to which we invite Out-of-town guests who stay over- night. 9th- If any one asks where we might be, Come downstairs to the Studio tea. Ioth- It was a pleasure and treat for all To have as our guest this week, Miss Small. 14th- The Music Club began to day. Miss VVood and Chopin had their say. 16th- XVe could hear Mr. Spicer the whole day long joyfully, lifting his voice in song. XNhen you're weary or full of sorrow Try that train today that goes to Morrow! 22nd- Jingle bells! A horse and sleigh Brought comfort to those who at school must stay VVhile the weekenders are away. March zncl- Everyoue was feeling gay .-Xt the Senior cabaret. Orchestra, floor show, all complete Gave the guests a rare good treat. 6th- Vlle were indeed a happy bunch VVith Bishop Brown our guest at lunch. 14th- All the school went in to hear The Gerhart in the concert of the year. On this occasion they combine XNith Ernest Hutcheson, a pianist line. Next weekend's quite a busy one With several girls at Washington. 23rd- Our study-hall could hardly seat The crowd that came for Quality Street . 28th- All the girls are ready to cheer Now that Spring vacation's here. And let us not forget the delight That Mrs. Harris provided one night. .-lpril Sth- Through snowstorms, sleet, we plow our way And Spring comes slowly up this way . The schoolroom was decorated for the occasion in red and white, anticipating Valentine's Day, and the music was supplied by a local orchestra. l XVe are looking forward with great pleasure to our special dinner and visit to the movies in honor of the Seniors, to Junior Day and to the revelation of the secrets of Junior Hill, and hnally to the moment when we may sit on Senior bench, We are very grateful to Miss Baldwin and to Miss Harris, our adviser, who have made this year such a happy one for all of us. 28
