Suddenly from the other room, Corn-eel-ius, l'm reody roused him from his reverie. l-lurriedly he skipped thru the rogues gollery ' to get one look ot thot occepted most hondsorne guy in the book, Finding it, he sputtered ond broke into o loud ond booming lough, then remem- bering, he tossed the book on the tohle ond with o perfunctory, Yes m'love , he rushed to get his top-coot. Picking up his evening poper, he cursorily sconned the front poge. Seeing nothing but o few froritic heodlines, he turned to the sport sec- tion. l-le cocked his heod to the side, blinked his eyes, ond reod, COM- MERCE SWAMPS CLINTON, 44 to O, IN TURKEY DAY CLASSIC. A wide grin wreothed his foce os he exultontly reod through the orticle. Setting the poper oside, he strode to the book-cose ond from o lower shelf triumphontly extrocted o copy of one ofthe world's unsung moster- pieces, the Commerce Yeor Book, l937. Thumbing thru its prolific poges, he wos immediotely greeted by the leering foces of the Yeor Book stoff ond the ougust body of Senior Officers. Shuddering slightly, he turned the poge ond with o quizzicol Edmund-Lowe-ish expression mused to himself, Who's got o buck ond o holf for the Yeor Book.
