COMMERCE YEAR EooK, 1913 DER DEUTSCHE VEREIN ER DEUTSCHE VEREIN CThe German Clubj is the third language club of the school. It was organized in September, 1911, its purpose being similar to that of the other language clubs. Since that time it has held regular meetings under the guidance of lVIr. Roessler. One characteristic distinguishes this club from all other clubs of the school- not everyone in the 'school is eligible for membership. Every prospective member must first be nominated 'by Mr. Roessler. Thus an efficient and in- dustrious group of fellows arelgotten together. It is interesting to note that everything that is spoken is in the language that has been adopted by the club. It can therefore readily be seen that this organization is of very great benefit to the progressive students of the school. .
