WALTER McWILLIAMS After finishing High School, Walter plans to attend U. of C. and specialize in a biolog¬ ical science field that will preferably lead to an occupation outdoors. His own tape library of popular music is growing regularly. Most of his time is spent doing chores and attending school while his pet peeve is heifer dust. SHIRLEY MILLER Shirley ' s future plans include nursing, but while waiting for her acceptance papers, Shirley relaxes by driving around in a certain dark blue Futura. Besides her studies, Shirley ' s pet peeve is going to the dentist and being toofleth. DAVID MONCRIEFF David is not letting on what his plans for after school are, but whatever they are we wish him luck! He has shades and rather long hair that is just hanging around. This fellow, a great friend of all, usually swings into action at 4 P. M. Friday, and does not stop until 9A. M. Mon¬ day. JOY JEWELL We all know how active Joy is in sports and countless other activities. In this respect, she seems to have chosen a very suitable ambition--that of a Physical Education Instructor. Some of Joy ' s hobbies include riding, driving, dances, and meeting new people. Her act¬ ivities are many also--basket- ball, volleyball, Teen Town, badminton, and swimming. KEITH JORGENSEN Keith ' s ambition is to complete Grade 12 and obtain a Universi¬ ty education. Afterwards he hopes to travel, especially through the smaller European countries. His pet peeve is teachers who crack dumb jokes that aren ' t really funny and then laugh at them. The activi¬ ty he most enjoys is driving cars. His hobby is fixing them after he has driven them. JON KINZELL Jon plans to major in Marine Biology at the University of Florida or the University of Cali¬ fornia, after completing Grade 12. His hobbies include horses and music, and as for activities --curling, track and field, intramural badminton, and a certain dark-haired girl, fill up his leisure time. ELEANOR LEPARD Eleanor is planning to make marriage her career when she finishes school, and in that case Congratulations are in order. It ' s a good thing she enjoys sewing and cooking! She also says she doesn ' t have many activities because she usually finds her¬ self at home writing piles of letters. Wonder who she writes to??? CAROL ANNE LONGSON Though known to most as Carol , this pint-sized senior insists her name is Carol Anne . She ' s often seen peeking over the wheel of her ' 51 Ford, en route to curling. (Pet peeve-- bucket seats. ) Her big aspiration is to be a Home Economist, but we think that ' s just a cover-up for her real ambition ! Her big¬ gest hope--to be tall, but don ' t worry Carol-good things come in small packages ! WAYNE LUNN After completing Grade 12, Wayne plans to attend the Uni¬ versity of Alberta. He is not yet sure what course he will take once he ' s enrolled. Wayne participates in and is interested in numerous sports activities. He particularly likes aquatics and wishes to swim competitively all year round. Wayne also seems to be interested in running, es¬ pecially during the evening-- any particular reason, or just to keep in shape? His pet peeve is uncertainty. MAUREEN MacDONALD Maureen will be found taking Nurse ' s training in Calgary in the near future and we all hope she doesn ' t have a weak stomach! Reading, record collecting, and ski-dooing are among her favor¬ ite hobbies. Maureen ' s pet peeves are homework (ain ' t that the truth!) and winter. Her act¬ ivities are working at the Twi¬ light Nursing Home, swimming and the inevitable--baby-sitting. MARGARET MacPHERSON Since coming to High River in September, Marg has really been a bright spot in the bleak halls with her friendly smile. Curling, Hi-C, and keeping the treasury of Student Union full, has kept her busy, busy, busy! After high school, University seems to be in the future for Marg, and let ' s hope that there aren ' t any 80 minute classes. 10

RAY MORIN As of yet, Ray is still undecided about what he plans to do after finishing high school. As a matter of fact, he ' s still concentrating on finishing high school. Mean¬ while, he kills time working, going to shows, and participating in various sports. Ray ' s pet peeve is girl ' s basketball games? SHARON MOXIN Most Thursday nights, Sharon can be found around the Memorial Center, keeping the girls in line. Curling, music, and drama club occupy the week but every week-end finds her drawn to Herronton! ! Her pet peeve is peo¬ ple commenting on her teeth! Her ambition is to be a nurse, but the future may find her as a personal secretary to Trudeau. But no matter where she goes we know she ' ll succeed. TED NELSON After high school, Ted plans on attending the Olds Agricultural College or S. A. I. T. Afterwards, he is going to stay home and farm. His hobbies are driving and working on cars, snowmob¬ iles, and other vehicles. Ted curls a lot, and spends weekends trying to get his jeep running and keeping it running. His pet peeve--Jeeps ! TERRY PALMER Terry ' s goal after high school is nurse ' s training in Calgary. Snow storms and exams are her pet peeves. GERRY SCHERGER Gerry, a small but active senior, plans to attend the U. of A. next fall, but apparently doesn ' t know yet what field to enter. Her favorite hobbies include sew¬ ing and reading. Although she has held a steady job since last summer, she has managed to maintain a high average in all her subjects. We just hope she keeps up. the good work. CONNIE SCHMITZ Connie plans on taking a sec¬ retarial course at Tech, after finishing High School. Her favorite hobby is bombing around, but sleeping ranks close behind. She belongs to C. Y. O. of which she is Social Convenor. Another activity is working at the Bakery. Connie ' s pet peeve is the person who sat across from her in Chemistry 30. LINDA SCOTT Linda, a well-known cheerleader as well as a member of the track and field team, says she has no real plans for the future. She enjoys sketching and horse-back riding but hardly expects to make a career out of them. Don ' t be surprised if she turns to acting as she is now a talented member of Playhouse 14. GLENN SMITH Glenn, our President of Student ' s Union, plans to attend the U. of A. after school to take up a course in Agriculture. Meanwhile, cars and all sorts of electrical apparatus keep him well occu¬ pied. His activities include Air Cadets, and curling, and tapes that bum out really bum him up. 12
