ALLRED Since earliest times philosophers have taught the basic principles of human relationships, have emphasized the qualities that go to make up a well-liked, agreeable personality— the qualities that mean most in association with others. There has never been a time when kindness, unselfishness, and consideration for others were not considered essential qualities. Faith, Hope and Love— These three— and the greatest of these is Love. These words stress what is the most vital and characteristic of Christian virtues— love of one ' s fellowmen. It is with deep admiration and affection that the senior class of 1960, dedicate our yearbook to one who has taught these qualities by precept and example— as a beloved teacher a patient counsellor and a sympathetic friend in his own words whose only failure, if he has failed, is that he has loved his students too much: MR.
