HISTORY Most of our history started in about 1936, when our parents had a great shock!!! 1 Then in 1941 most of us met in the great Higgins Grade School. Some were trouble makers and some weren’t, some learned and some didn't, but all in all, believe it or not, we made it to this great year of '54, when we will at last get out of Prison (Higgins High, no less)!! Those who started in the first gradeand graduating this year are Nancy Peugh, Dale Litchfield, Joann Stucker. Opal Thompson, Ray Koch and Denny Carmichael. Darle Sell added his laughs and jokes in the 2nd grade. Duane Kernes added his mischievousness in the 3rd grade. Huldrich Koch added his intelligence in the 4th grade, and Andrew Morris added his noisiness in the 6th grade. Wilma Beebe joined us in the 10th grade and Thelma Gifford in the 11th grade. In the 9th grade Clydeen Mitchell came but left and returned in the 12th grade. Daisy Cook and Carlene Freeman joined us Beetle Brains in the Senior year. The patient sufferers of this period were: Mrs. Slack, Miss Word, Miss Rauh, Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. Kitchen, Mrs. Keen, Mrs. Brown, Mr. G. Gourley, Mrs. Jenkins, Mr. C. Gourley, Mr. Hunter, Mr. Shaw, Mrs. Stobaugh, Mr. Crockett, Mr. Harp, Mrs. German, Mr. Hurn, Mr. Knight, Mrs. Mixson, Mr. Detrixhe and Mrs. Davis. Our history is not over. Look us up in 1968and see what characterswe have turned out to be!!!

CLASS WILL We, the seniors of '54 being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be our Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all wills heretofore made by us. Clydeen wills her love of school to Mr. Gourley and her ability to catch a man to Sharon Pinegar who never has a boyfriend. Opal wills her ability to write Love Letters in study hall and never get caught to Shirley Forbau who could use some knowledge of the Know How. Carlene wills her ability to skip last hour study hall period to eat to RoxieLee Vauter who wouldn't do such a thing, without a chance. Nancy wills her ability to take a sudden interest in the Methodist Church and to do typing for two to Mary Bussard who is now interested in Ronald Steinle instead of Preacher Jackson. Thelma hasn't anything to will now as Roger has suddenly taken an interest in her younger sister, and she is living in hopes—. Daisy wills her ability to change schools and get out at the semester to Max Wassenmiller who will need to change schools so as to get out by the time Robert graduates. Wilma wills her ability to talk back to the teachers, and also to gripe and boss everyone around and prance down the hall to show off to Jolene Babitzke who never does anything but act like an angel, Ha. Denny doesn't want to will anything as he may be here next year and will need everything that he has, but will leave the junk closet to Lee Wayne Brown if he doesn't come back. Huldrich wills his ability to go to sleep in class and dream about Nelda to Floyd Steinle who is so studious and never thinks about GIRLS. Duane wills his ability to crack and eat nuts in English class and let Dale get the blame for it to Chas. Gourley who hasn't got the nerve as Paw is boss.
