Class History The seniors of our present senior class who began their school career on this campus and have continued through 12 years of torture from teachers , incidentally they have given some too, are Grace Cloud, Don Thompson, Sam Brown, Allen Pinegar, and Josephine Mar- tinez. Scott Davis began his career here too but left in the 2nd, and rejoined the class in the middle of our 8th year. Dean Weese also started here but left and came back in the 4th. Al- so joining with him was Jim Weese. They left again and again joined their classmates in the 7th, and have continued here. In the second grade Mack Sansing, and Jerry Hawkins became added mischiefs to this class. Joining the gang in the third grade was Louis Martinez, Duane Babtizke, and Jessie Allen gave his services in the 4th grade but withdrew them until the seven- th when he rejoined this class. Leona Margaret Moore joined the class in the fifth grade and Noralene Hausler and Sylvia Detrixhe joined in the sixth grade. In our first year of High School Glenda Gill enrolled with us. Harold Steinle came in the sophomore year and J. D. Schneider added his presence in our junior year. The ones who have tried through the past 12 years to make our lives successful are: Mrs. Lois Slack, Miss Ora Sue Word, Mrs. Herring. Mis. Franklin Peugh, Miss Leatha Raugh, Mrs. Dave Kitchen, Mrs. Roy Keen, Mrs. W. B. Hicks, Mr. Gaines Gourley, Mr. John R. Shaw, Mrs. Gene Mixon, Mrs. Warren Jenkins. Mrs. Bill Throne, Mr. Charles Gourley, Mr. Max Hunter, Mr. Harold Knight and Mr. B. C. Hum.

Class Will We, the Senior Class of 1953, being of excellent mental aptitude and 3 sheets to the wind, will and bequeath the following, to wit: Allen Pinegar wills his ability to pop off to teachers and the student body to Lee Wayne Brown, who needs a little spunk anyway. Dean Weese wills his curly hair to Gaines Gourley--we hear he needs it. Sam Brown wills his smokers seat in Duanes car to Darle Sell they won’t let Demp in because he takes too much room. Leona Moore wills her straight A's to Denny Carmichael who doesn't even know what one is. Harold Steinle wills his ability to get married to Demp Sell so his wife can get his lessons. Noralene Steinle wills her ability to make the grades for two to Laura Mae Detrixhe so she can get herself a man. Louis Martinez wills his yellow boots to Mr. Gourley so he can be like Ed Winett. Grace Cloud wills her silly giggles to Darlene Stucker in hopes that the Algebra Room won't be so drab next year. Sylvia Detrixhe wills her ability to warm the bench to Opal Thompson in hopes Opal can get closer to the coach. Don Thompson wills his businesslike ways to Nancy Peugh who needs it because she is so uppity-up. Duane Babtizke wills his Bishop date to Roger Haley who is looking for someone. Glenda Gill wills her quietness to Gladys Howard who is too loud mouthed in study hall. Jim Weese wills his big nose to Andrew Morris because Ray Koch knocked his off. J. D. Schneider wills his seat at the El Casino to Huldrich Koch who wants to see more of the Wild Side of Life . Josephine Martinez wills her ability to do push-ups in public to Thelma Gifford so she can win the Women Championship in wrestling. Mack Sansing wills his large mouth and build to Bobby Joe Williamson who could use a little weight. Scott Davis wills his sweat socks to Floyd Steinle if he can catch them. Jessie Allen wills his ability to shoot set ups to Dale Litchfeild who has missed a few. Jerry Hawkins wills his porcupine hair to Lynn Jackson whose hair is too curly any- way.
