KING Bobby Ashworth QUEEN Carolyn Baker om QC0l'VLl'VL9 f 95 8- 3 Q The Higbee High School Homecoming of 1958-'59 was held in the Highbee High School Audi- torium on January 27, 1959. The subject Spring, with pastel colored flowers and streamers, was used in the decorations. The evening's program began with dancing, performed by the first and second grades, a song by the Girls' Ensemble, songs by the third and fourth grades, songs by the Girls' Quartet, song by the sixth grade girls, song by Lonnie Moore, dance by the Fifth and sixth grades, and songs by the Good Sisters . After the school program, the Grand March was performed by the seventh and eighth grades, and high school students. While Cecelia Good sang Hi Neighbors they formed the word Hello, then they settled in an aisle tor the attendants and the King and Queen to walk through . The ' attendants were: Freshman, Donna Neikirk, escorted by Marvin Pitney. Sophomore, Peggy Rogers, escorted by Max Borrons. Junior, Judy Thornhill, escorted by Gary Hamilton. The Queen's attendants were Jo Ann Hudson, escorted by Denny White, Terrie Stuart, escorted by Ronnie Rennolds, Peggy Sumpter, escorted by Larry Robb, Nancy Machetta, escorted by Larry Wilcoxson, Cecelia Good, escorted by Alvin Cerveny, Jennie Jacoby, escorted by Dick Hess. The Attendants were followed in by the King, Bobby Ashworth, and the Queen, Carolyn Baker. The Queen was crowned by the King, Bobby Ashworth. The Homecoming activities were closed by the group singing Let Me Call You Sweetheart and the school song. The coronation was followed by an enjoyable dance with music by Edna Lewis and Her Boy Friends .
