For Those Who Will Follow This has been a very difficult year for me person- ally because of the changing attendance lines. These new lines will cause a majority of students who are now at Hidden Valley to go to other schools next year. The students from Glenvar who will be going to Glenvar Junior High School and the students in the annexed area who will be going to City Schools will be missed next year. We wish all of you well. We will try to do everything within our power to make the transition easier for all of our students. We hope that you will give to your new schools the loy- alty and the leadership that you have given while students here at Hidden Valley. From those of you who remain at Hidden Valley, we will ask for continued and increased leadership so that we can bounce back from the loss of these stu- dents and maintain our high standards both individu- ally and collectively as a school. I have certainly enjoyed working with each of you during this past year, and I would especially like to mention the newspaper staff and officers of the SCA who have done an outstanding job. We hope that those of you who leave us will continue your fine leadership at other schools. You have left a fine herit age for those who will follow you. My best wishes will go with all of you dur ing your next school years. QLLOYD FARTHINGJ With Hidden Valley becoming a Junior High School we had the task to con- tinue high standards in the expansion of the already varied academic and ath- letic programs. The excellent response of our students and staff to this task made the transition a tremendous success. This feeling of togetherness makes me proud to say that I am part of your school. CDAVID PRICED This has been our first year as a Junior High School and has brought several changes in our school both from an academic and athletic stand point. The addition of the ninth grade has added greatly to our curriculum. We have a full Junior High Athletic Program that has allowed many more students to par- ticipate. The discipline and spirit of the student body has been the best ever. We greatly appreciate your support. fMURPHY SCOTTJ
