Long Hours Track is not a spectator sport. It's not full of glamorous lights and bright-eyed cheerleaders, nor does it have crowds of students to root the team to victory. Track is an individual sport requiring individual effort and training. The events such as shot put, pole vaulting, high jump, and mile relay are practiced for long hours until the final moment when their true skill and speed are tested.

A Tradition of Excellence M- x I Although volleyball is not a popular spectator sport it is one many people enjoy playing. It is a fast moving game in which points may be scored by a spike at the net or a close call on boundaryrlines. The game requires much hard work by team members to perfect their moves on the court. Hidden Valley traditionally has produced championship calibre teams. This year's team was no exception. The mal Score The final score has been totaled and run up on the scoreboard. The fans have left the gym and Hidden Valley has completed another year of sports. BUT the memories will remain in the minds of all the people who participated at Hidden Valley this year. First, the coaches who devoted many hours of their time and patience developing their team members. Secondly, the players who worked hard and long trying to better their sport skills, and finally, the fans, who cheered the different teams on to victory and showed sympathy after a loss. Yes, the year is over, but by glancing at the pictures on the preceding pages the events can be relived. ...L L-im
