I976-77 Champions The ninth grade girls basket- ball team completed their season undefeated this year and won the Roanoke Valley lr. High League Championship. It was a hard fought season and the champion- ship was well deserved by the team. Outstanding performances of Cindy Warring, Barbara Calla- han, and Mickey Smith led the team to victory, but the champi- onship required a total team effort. After a slow start the girls eighth grade basketball team finally pulled themselves together to win three out of their last four games. The girls should be commended for their fine sportsmanship and their hard work during the season.
