The journalism classes produced the newspaper and the annual. At the beginning of the year the students in the ninth grade class picked the one which they preferred to work with. The areas from which they had to choose were sports, features and news. They performed various tasks to keep the students informed about both old and present happenings on subjects in the groups they chose. I A new half year elective class was added for the eighth grade students. It gave them a better insight into just exactly what is involved with the pro- ductions of both annual and newspa- per.
