COMETS TACKLE ROUGH SEASON How can one measure greatness? Is it with the number of victories? Ho, to use a cliche, it does not matter whether you win or lose; but rather, how you play the game. How a team plays involves team- work. Teamwork is combined effort performed for a particular purpose. Teamwork deals with not only how the players work together but also how the team works with its coaches. This year our Football team, coa- ched by Mr. Quattrini, illustrated this quality of teamwork. The Comets were led by Captains Paul Bruno and Qreg Skupinsky. They were aided both of- fensively and defensively by many sen- iors who have developed the skill of working together. On offense, we saw Mike Ednie, Kevin Silvar, Dan Bradley, Brian McDevitt, Jeff Coen, Tom Qretes, Pat Muscarella and Mark Kruger. Lead- ing the defense were Jack Herzlinger, Mike Hogan, Scott Kraemer, Steve Co- laio and Henry Schaeffer. Every player on the team gave it their best. They all worked for a com- mon purpose and on many occasions achieved their goal. Dan Bradley awaits a touchdown pass deep in the end zone from quarterback Paul Bruno.
