Parade to victory Homecoming Day '73 was held on Saturday. October 13. a beautiful day. perfect for a game and a parade. Lorraine Meddis was crowned homecoming queen, with Monica Innes, Joanne O’Connell, Laura Delapp, and Lynn Barondess as the proud run- ners-up. The Marching Comets’ half-time show, as well as the lively spirit of the faculty, alumni, and students helped lead the football team to an astonishing 20-6 victory over Herricks. you win or lose ... The cheerleaders work to arouse school spirit. This year’s Pep Rally for the HHS Home- coming Day football game was held on Friday afternoon, October 12, 1973. The team was out in full force, as were the Marching Band, cheerleaders, and coquettes. Speakers includ- ed Mr. Rusch, quarterback Steve Cannone, and Coach Brown, all of whom helped spur the Comets to victory. Our illustrious team in their stocking feet.
