DEDICATION In all the years since the founding of Hicksville High School, never before have the recent teen-age graduates set aside their own plans to answer their country's call. This year the alumni of 194.3 will be taking their places side by side with the graduates of '41 and 42 who have already entrusted Uncle Sam with their futures. Our seniors are preparing to do their part in lighting for the preservation of democracy and to stabilize the future for the graduates to come. With this thought in mind we, of THE COMET, humbly dedicate this final issue for the school year of 1943 to the boys of the senior class anil also to the teen-age boys of the classes of 1941 and 1942 who ha e entered, or who are about to enter, our country s service. e wish them the best of luck and (iodspeed. niiliiiilJIlilllllilllimUHUiHtillllllilUllINlWHIIIIIIMIIIMIIilUlHIH
