We all realize that a high school education would be impossible without two groups of people - our parents and our teachers. These two groups. working together, have aided and encouraged u , have stood behind us when we needed them and have provided us with equipment for study and an atmosphere in which to learn. To the Parent-Teachers Association, whose work we deeply appreciate, we, the senior class of Hickory Flat High School, gratefully dedicate this volume, the 1963 Hickory Nutt.

Presents the M ic ko r y 2 I at of the South The word beauty may be applied to many things. One of them is a Southern Belle. The South has long been known for its beautiful girls. In Hickory Flat we have the cream of the crop from which to choose. Many girls pass through the portals of this school each year out into the world of today. We feel that from these we are giving not only the best in beauty but also in quality.
