There are a number of books on every subject ranging from American government to sports stories. At the right, Roger Stone admires the work of Kay Moreau, who is busily weaving a piece of cloth. These are just a few phases of art produced in our art department. Also offered are such things as lettering, stenciling,and oil painting. Hickman is very lucky to have such a fine art teacher. Mrs. Long has beenteach- ing at Hickman for fifteen years and has helped with many of our projects and activities. She is always in charge of the sets for Homecoming, the Christmas Pageant, the Operetta, and Senior Play. il Sondra Hunt and Linda Colvin demonstrate the stages of basket weaving.
